Massive Attack - Heligoland

Kat was listening to Massive Attack (Mezzanine, so fucking amazing...) in the bedroom  and I decided to look up what's happening with those guys these days (no releases since 2003's 100th Window).Well, lo and behold, Their new album dropped Tuesday, entitled Heligoland. Sounding largely retro, they've strayed from the prior albums sound, and brought in a slew of guest vocals (Martina Topley-Bird, Hope Sandoval, Elbow’s Guy Garvey, TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpemake, Damon Albarn, and of course, Horace Andy.). Having scored two soundtracks (Battle in Seattle and Trouble the Water, its definitely no surprise they sound very "cinematic" on this album.

UPDATE 3/15/09: i had posted a remix of "paradise circus (ft hope sandoval)" remixed by none other than gui borrato... but was asked to kindly take it down so...
