Sometime last year, the idea fled out that old unreleased material was supposed to be collected and released on an EP, but as there was way too much of it to be released on a measly EP, the idea was canceled and a second album was planned instead aka la la la aka don't expect anything new.
The 2010 album, conveniently (and kind of blandly) titled Crystal Castles II, was originally set to be released via Fiction Records on June 7, 2010 in the United Kingdom and Europe, and on June 8, 2010 worldwide. However, thanks to the not-so-wonderful world of web, the album was leaked online and its digital release was rushed to last Friday, April 23rd. Surprise! The album will technically physically be released on May 24 but hey the news is already out, sooooo:
