Bionic Commando (remix by Surkin)

I know ive been a bit slow with the blog the last few weeks, but I've been a bit busy tending to life stuff, that kinda supersedes the blog..."kinda"

Anyhoo, the new Bionic Commando game, a sequel to the 1987 classic of the same name, was released back in May. In the last few weeks leading up to the release, remixes of the theme song have been appeared everywhere. Here's the best of them all, by French electro DJ and producer Surkin.

Surkin's remix treatment, turning a lo-fi video game theme into a wicked club tune, works surprisingly well. This track is sure to conjure an old school gaming nostalgia and the tune is insanely addictive, whether you played the original or not.
