I have a certain amount of love for Chris Corner.
YAMIL actually sent their new album “Kingdom Of Welcome Addiction” to me… (Thanks Yamil!) I was listening to it ALL night. And though i'm sure their will be plenty more where that came from, this was my immediate reaction to the album on the first listen:
“Nature Of Inviting” was the opening track and DEFINITELY my absolute favorite out of all 11 songs off the album, and “I Am Terrified” is out of this world. When I first started listening to it I thought it was pretty, but when it picked up towards the end and he starting wailing, I really did fall in love with it. I rewound it about five times just so I could listen to the same part over and over and over again. Because i'm a sap.
What I am going to say that I still love "The Alternative" album the most, and though this album definitely strays a bit from what we know and love it most definitely deserves a listen. Kiss kiss, Chris Corner. See you on tour!
